Rubenovitch Furnishings & Co. is exhibiting some of our work at North Yoga in Squamish. Feel free to drop into their studio or one of their yoga classes and take a peak at some work from various local artists. Its honour to be sharing space alongside a handful of other creative individuals.

Zell: Balance with Zen in Hell. Beautiful highly figured maple meets spalt. Spalting is caused by fungi & occurs in trees under stress, it produces magnificent pigmentation, zone lines & white rot. Lenny had the pleasure to collaborate on this piece with longtime logger Tim Reid who enriched the work with the character wood & his craftsmanship.

Soul Flame: Cedar fused to concrete

Bookends: Learning over systems. Salvaged reclaimed Fir offcuts fused to concrete to create bookends.

Transformation: This Maple slab lives as a sculpture or can be transformed to a shelf. It lived in forest and a tree fell on it and produced a scar & then yielded a unique wound: The round lip/heal over. Concrete and metal have been fused to accent its transmogrify.
